Join us for a free public lecture and discussion with Dr. Thomas Sugrue, historian and author of Origins of the Urban Crisis, at WSU's Community Arts Auditorium (450 Reuther Mall; Detroit, Michigan 48202) from 2 to 4 pm.

Joining Dr. Sugrue for a panel discussion are Dr. Melba Joyce Boyd, Distinguished Professor of African American Studies at Wayne State University; Maurice Cox, Director of Planning and Development for the City of Detroit; Professor Caroline Rolland-Diamond, Professor of American Civilization and History at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
