Including such thought-provoking questions as:

- What stories do our current monuments tell, and whose voices are missing?

- How can public art better reflect the diversity and complexity of our community?

- What stories need to be told?

- What new forms and mediums can we embrace to create more inclusive and dynamic representations of history and culture?

Through creative brainstorming exercises and open dialogue, we'll co-create a vision that honors the past while envisioning a more inclusive, equitable, and vibrant future. Guided by experts in art, history, and community engagement, participants will have the opportunity to share their insights, aspirations, and dreams for the future history of public art in Detroit.

Let's ignite the spark of imagination together and pave the way for a new era of monuments and public art that truly reflects the richness and diversity of Detroit's heritage and its people.

Participation is free with museum admission.
