Michigan History Day

9:00am to 4:00pm

Michigan History Day®, is a year-long educational program of the Historical Society of Michigan that encourages students to explore local, state, national and world history. Winners of the state level Michigan History Day competition in the Junior and Senior categories move on to compete in National History Day in College Park, Maryland.

The Hustle: Naturally ILLustrated X The Coloring Museum

After attending College for Creative Studies, Sherrie Savage founded her first company, released an adult coloring book, and went on to found Naturally ILLustrated X The Coloring Museum, bringing coloring and art to the city and improving people’s mental health.

Savage will speak about her “Hustle” as a small business owner while guiding participants in a watercolor painting activity at the Detroit Historical Museum.
