5th Annual Course of History Golf Classic Presented by Burns & Wilcox

The Course of History Golf Classic Presented by Burns & Wilcox returns this fall to the Country Club of Detroit, deemed one of Detroit’s crown jewels of golf. 

Players will indulge in a round of 18 holes of golf on the Championship Course and enjoy all the perks and benefits of a Club Membership for the day. 

The day will begin at 11 a.m. with warm-up facilities and a Bloody Mary Bar available, followed by a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch and alcoholic beverages will be provided on the course while players enjoy a relaxing round on one of Michigan’s most historic courses. On Course Games Include: “Buy a Score” donation, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin contests on the par 3s.

The day will wrap up with a fun awards ceremony and strolling dinner on the Club House lawn, as well as the opportunity to mix and mingle with other supporters of The Detroit Historical Society.
