Soupy Sales was not Detroit television’s first star, but he was surely the biggest during the decades following World War II. His lunchtime show – “12 ‘O Clock Comics” - that debuted on Channel 7 in 1953 and began broadcasting nationwide in 1959 was required viewing for youngstersIn alignment with National Humor Month, enjoy slapstick comedic fun and a look back at the Soupy Sales Show with excerpts from the original series.
