The Friends of Detroit's Black Historic Sites Committee invites you to a new year of their signature Jazz in the Streets of Old Detroit concert series.
Join us on Wednesday, March 6 for Straight Ahead, an all-female group of strong, inventive instrumentalists and vocalists. Widely recognized for their eclectic and soulful approach to creating music, the Straight Ahead sound ranges comfortably from mainstream jazz R&B ballads, avant-garde to Brazilian funk. Their live performances are a dynamic celebration of power and joy.
Complimentary parking and light non-alcoholic refreshments will make this a perfect evening for jazz enthusiasts, an easy date night, or reconnecting with friends in the Streets of Old Detroit.
Proceeds from this event help support the work of the Black Historic Sites Committee.
