Freedom Confirmed Opening Reception

Join us at the premiere opening event for "Freedom Confirmed" a new pop-up exhibition in Detroit's District 4 neighborhood.
Kick off Juneteenth Weekend at Martin Evers Missionary Baptist Church (11111 Whittier St. in Detroit). The Freedom Confirmed Pop-up Museum is located nearby at 10036 Whittier St.
About the exhibit: “Freedom Confirmed: President Abraham Lincoln’s Courage to Create Change” will inspire and educate visitors about Abraham Lincoln’s Civil War presidency and the history of American freedom and justice in the pivotal year of 1865. After the opening event “Freedom Confirmed” will be open to all through May 21, 2023.
