Learn how two growers in the City Commons local collective tend a variety of vegetables, flowers, perennial fruit, and beehives, while focusing on permaculture, diverting food waste, and honoring the land. We’ll visit Bloomtown in East Poletown, founded by Lis Chere Thomas in 2021, and then travel to Sanctuary Farms on the east side, started by Parker Jean and jøn kent in 2020. *Note this is an outdoor tour in natural areas.
