In celebration of 313 Day, join us for a pop-up exhibition of garments and home accessories created by Tommey Walker of Detroit vs. Everybody. Drawing inspiration from Detroit history along with artifacts in the Detroit Historical Society collection, Walker's designs promise to offer a unique perspective on Detroit's rich heritage. By blending elements of the past with contemporary design, the new line showcases the city's resilience, innovation, and diversity in a visually captivating way.

Visitors can anticipate a visually captivating experience as they explore vignettes curated by Walker and the Detroit vs. Everybody team, each highlighting a unique facet of Detroit's history and identity. From the legendary Motown sound to the automotive legacy represented by companies like Ford and Packard, museum visitors will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the stories and symbols that have shaped Detroit's past and present.

"313 Day” will be a free admission day at the Detroit Historical Museum. No registration is necessary.
