Michigan History Day®, is a year-long educational program of the Historical Society of Michigan that encourages students to explore local, state, national and world history. Winners of the state level Michigan History Day competition in the Junior and Senior categories move on to compete in National History Day in College Park, Maryland.

From Lake Michigan to the Detroit River, residents of the Detroit region made their way to small campgrounds and world-renowned resorts to take make memories that continue to shape our collective history. Moderated by Manager of Education and Public Programs, Kimmie Dobos-Wolfe, take a trip down memory lane and rediscover leisure on the lakes!

Moderated by the Society's Manager of Education and Public Programs, Kimmie Dobos Wolfe.
