Reinterpreting Space

March 26 2022 | 10:30am to 12:00pm

Please note date change! Limited tickets still available.

One of the Detroit Historical Society’s strategic pillars is diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion, but what does that mean? As part of this commitment, we continually re-engage our collection and exhibitions to ensure that we are offering the most accurate and multi-voiced interpretation possible.

As part of a special look into our history and collection, we invite participants to see rarely-displayed artifacts up close and from behind the glass as Jeremy Dimick, Director of Collections, Malika Pryor, Senior Director of Education and Public Programs, and Kimmie Dobos Wolfe, Manager of Education and Public Programs dive into new connections that can be made with these items and history that is often overlooked.

Registration includes a tour with senior staff, an up-close experience with rare artifacts, and admission to the museum.
