Virtual Event: Amy Sacka on "Last Ice"
Photographer Amy Sacka will join Sandra Svoboda of Detroit Public Television's Great Lakes Now for a one-on-one conversation in conjunction with Last Ice, the new exhibition featuring Amy's photography at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
Amy will share her artwork along with her personal and professional journey to ice fishing and the Great Lakes. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.

The Detroit Historical Society's Youth Advisory Council will lead a conversation with Professor Jeanne Theoharis, author of the Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks. Theoharis's definitive political biography examines Rosa Parks's six decades of activism, challenging popular perceptions of her as an accidental actor in the civil rights movement.
