Uso Car Club Picnic & 2022 Concert of Colors Kick-off

Join us for a uniquely Detroit kick-off event, in a way that could only happen here and this year! Uso Car Club is partnering with Inside Southwest Detroit to bring lowriders from the neighborhood and around the country for its Midwest Regional Picnic, celebrating Uso Car Club's 30th anniversary worldwide and 15 years in Detroit. In addition, the event will also serve as a family friendly daytime kick-off for the 2022 Concert of Colors.

Explore the museum and see our exhibition on the history of Fisher Body Company, who built many of the 1940s-80s cars that eventually became lowriders. Then, head back outside to enjoy food from local food trucks and live outdoor performances by special musical guests while celebrating our car culture.

Performance schedule:

• 12:30: Sterling Toles
• 2:00: Ismael Ahmed opens the Concert of Colors & Uso hosts welcome the crowd
• 2:30: Motor City Street Dance Academy – music and break dancing 

Admission to the event and the museum is free for the day! Advance registration is not required.

Please note that the museum lot will be reserved for the day by Uso Car Club. Public parking will be available in Wayne State Lot #33 located at 5521 Woodward Ave.
