Join us for a free family day with fun and engaging activities that highlight the natural habitat and human history of Belle Isle. Enjoy a seed-based craft project, explore the environment, and don’t miss a special performance by Detroit storyteller Madelyn Porter at 11 a.m. Seeds provided by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
While you're here, be sure to visit Greening Detroit: Urban Farming in the City, a new exhibit exploring Detroiters' long history of growing their own food — on display now.
