The annual Society Ball is our major fundraiser for educational programming. Funds raised at the 2017 Society Ball will support a range of the Society’s priority initiatives including subsidized school tours, in-school programs and other educational resources deserving students need as a foundation for their futures.

6 p.m.  Benefactor ticket $850 | Patron ticket $500   

Black tie. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction followed by a seated dinner, brief program, live auction and incredible entertainment by Ben Sharkey.

9 p.m.  Afterglow ticket $75 (or 2 tickets for $100)

Afterglow reception includes cocktails, desserts, late-night snacks and dancing. Cocktail attire.

The Detroit Historical Society is delighted to announce its inaugural Moving Forward Awards.
