Arts and Crafts projects - design and mail postcards inspired by Idlewild's legacy.

High school students from Detroit Community School will bring history to life throughout the museum by portraying notable African Americans from Detroit, as well as influential figures who have made significant contributions to American history.
2pm | Auditorium
A thought-provoking panel discussion on Idlewild, a historic African American resort community known for its rich cultural legacy and vibrant nightlife during the early-to-mid 20th century, exploring its rich past and present-day significance. Panelists include Sandra Blount and Frank Cargle, Jr. Screening of documentary, With Love from Idlewild.
