Late Nights at the Museum - Free Admission!

By popular demand - we're adding two Fall late night dates! Admission to the Detroit Historical Museum is free from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, courtesy of the William Davidson Foundation.

No advance registration is necessary.

The Detroit Historical Museum will be featuring a free jazz concert in the Gallery of Culture during Late Nights at the Museum on October 10.

Enjoy two sets, 5:30-6:30PM and 6:45-7:45PM.

Jazz in the Gallery - The Wolverines

Join us for Jazz in the Gallery at Detroit Historical Society. This special evening event will feature jazz ensemble The Wolverines and is free and open to the public.

Enjoy two sets, 5:30-6:30PM and 6:45-7:45PM.

Advance registration is preferred but not required.

Kresge Second Sundays - Free Museum Admission!

To celebrate the new exhibition Kresge at 100, museum admission will be free on the second Sunday of the month through January 2025, courtesy of the Kresge Foundation.

Michigan Alliance of Chinese Community Organizations proudly present 2024 Detroit China Day – the 8th Chinese American Culture & Arts Festival. The event is to provide an opportunity for people in Michigan to experience the richness of Asian/Chinese culture and build stronger community ties. There will be activities for everyone, bring your family and friends for this educational and fun experience.

Activities are included with museum admission, no registration required.
