Jazz in the Streets of Old Detroit: LL7 Latin Jazz
The Friends of Detroit's Black Historic Sites Committee invites you to the return of their signature Jazz in the Streets of Old Detroit concert series featuring various artists. On November 7, 2024, we're welcoming LL7 Latin Jazz, playing high-energy Latin inspired jazz and dance styles, similar to Poncho Sanchez and Tito Puente.

Players Playhouse

The Players Playhouse was constructed in 1925 for the all-male theatre troupe that performed one and three act plays in the Shakespearean tradition. The evening will include a tour at 6:30 p.m. and a performance of The Man from Earth at 8 p.m. sharp – a drama, which is rare for The Players.

Edmund Fitzgerald Special Event Station
To commemorate the 49th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, LARC will operate Special Event Station W8F "live" from Dossin Great Lakes Museum Saturday Nov. 9, 11 AM-3:30PM EST.
We will operate SSB, CW and digital modes. Watch spotting sites for QRG updates.

Kresge Second Sundays - Free Museum Admission!

To celebrate the new exhibition Kresge at 100, museum admission will be free on the second Sunday of the month through January 2025, courtesy of the Kresge Foundation.
