The Friends of Detroit's Black Historic Sites Committee invites you to the return of their signature Jazz in the Streets of Old Detroit concert series featuring various artists. On November 7, 2024, we're welcoming LL7 Latin Jazz, playing high-energy Latin inspired jazz and dance styles, similar to Poncho Sanchez and Tito Puente. 

Visit the Detroit Historical Museum for our newest exhibition, Toy Town! Opening on November 9 - just in time for the holidays - this delightful exhibition will take visitors on a nostalgic trip down memory lane featuring the toys they loved as children – no matter what era that may have been.

To celebrate the new exhibition Kresge at 100, museum admission will be free on the second Sunday of the month through January 2025, courtesy of the Kresge Foundation.

The Detroit Historical Society’s 2024 Annual Meeting will occur at 6 p.m. on November 13, 2024 at 5401 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48202 for the purpose of electing trustees and conducting other business.
