MEMBER EXCLUSIVE: Menotti's Opera, The Medium

The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is hosting an Members-Only performance of Menotti's The Medium!
The Gothic Room will serve as a intimate performance space for OperaMODO's 1 hour and 15 minute opera sung in English without supertitles. Light refreshments will be available before the performance.
Doors Open at 5:00 p.m.
Performance begins promply at 6:00 p.m.
Menotti's The Medium is a 2-act spooky treat just in time for Halloween. This highly accessible opera tells the tale of Madame Flora, the titular medium, who conducts seances. Assited by her daughter, Monica, and a deaf-mute orphan, Tobi, Madame Floor cons grieving parents into believing they are communicating with the spirits of their deceased children. Tragedy strikes when she begins to question her reality and possible haunting. If you have never attended the Opera or a long time supporter, this performance should not be missed.
Opera MODO is a new Detroit based theatre company dedicated to partnering with non-traditional venues to engage new audiences with modern interpretations in intimate settings.
Tickets are only for The 6:00p.m. Member Exclusive performance on October 27 and are non-transferable to OperaMODO's other performances.
