Senior Week

The Detroit Historical Museum is happy to present Senior Week, September 13–16. General admission is always free. Please note that we do not allow unscheduled self-guided groups of over 30 people.
Activities will include:
TOURS
Detroit’s Memories and Moments Tour
Experience 300 years of Detroit History with visits to Frontiers to Factories: Detroiters at Work, America’s Motor City, and Streets of Old Detroit exhibits. Explore the role of the city during World War II in the Detroit: The “Arsenal of Democracy” exhibit and view artifacts in the Allesee Gallery of Culture-showcasing the iconic people, places and moments of Detroit in the 20th century.
$5 per person
Tour times:
- 10-11:30 a.m.
- 12:30-2:00p.m.
- 2-3:30 p.m.
DETROIT-THEMED LUNCH
11:30-12:30 p.m. in the Grand Trunk Passenger Station
$6 per person
Lunches include:
- Your choice of Faygo or Vernors Pop
- A Coney Dog
