Our Signature Exhibitions are permanent installations that showcase more than 300 years of the city's rich history. Five permanent exhibitions debuted in 2012: the Gallery of Innovation, the Allesee Gallery of Culture, Motor City Music, Legends Plaza, and Detroit: The Arsenal of Democracy. Beloved permanent exhibitions also received upgrades and improvements, including the Streets of Old Detroit, Doorway to Freedom, America's Motor City and Origins: Life Where the River Bends exhibitions.
