Treats in the Streets

October 22 2023 | 1:00pm to 5:00pm

1-2PM Sensory Friendly Experience

Join us for a sensory-friendly indoor Halloween experience in a welcoming and inclusive environment for those with sensory processing differences including dimmer lights and limited amplified sounds.

2-5PM

This indoor event features trick or treating in two of our family favorite exhibits, The Streets of Old Detroit and Origins: Life Where the River Bends. Take a break with cider and donuts, have some fun at our DJ dance party, win prizes with our bewitching games, and marvel at our live performers.  We will also feature a craft area with several fun activities to make and take! Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Admission is free with registration, with two staggered arrival times

Please note that the museum will be closed to the public on Sunday, October 22 except for this event.
