Free Admission for School and Library Staff!

Celebrate Educator Appreciation Month with FREE ADMISSION for all school and library staff at the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum during the month of August!

Educators of all levels, school employees, and library staff members are invited to show their School ID at the front desk and receive complimentary admission on the day of their visit.

Terms & Conditions:

Teacher/Library/ParaProfessional ID/Staff Badge or pay stub is required at the time of visit. Promotion is valid only during regular museum hours in the event period of 8/1/24 - 8/31/24. Tickets cannot be pre-purchased for a later date.

The Detroit Historical Museum is open Wednesday – Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is open Wednesday – Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.
