Winter Film Series: With Love From Idlewild Screening & Panel

This poignant story showcases filmmaker Tinisha Brugnone’s travels through Idlewild – a historically African American vacation destination once considered the Black Eden of Michigan – with retired building engineer and local hunter/forager Charles Paige. Through Charles' vivid insight of the town's history and Tinisha's unique directorial vision, "With Love From Idlewild" puts a new, magical twist on the past, present and possible future of this small oasis in Northern Michigan.

After the screening, join us for an engaging talk with the director. This special film series presentation is sure to bring back memories for some and inspire others to create new ones.
