Postponed - Winter Film Series: Angels of the Sea

March 15 2020 | 2:00pm to March 16 2020 | 2:55pm

After much consideration and in alignment with the requests of our governor, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum is postponing this event. Please watch for a rescheduled date. Click here for more information about our Coronavirus response.

On June 3, 1947, the ship Emperor sank off of Isle Royale in Lake Superior. An old legend about this freshwater sea states that angels watch over its shipwrecks. Explore the wreck of the Emperor through the eyes of the divers as they proceed with angel-like care into the chilling waters. Includes exploration of the engine compartment and in areas over 200 feet deep into Lake Superior.

Running time: 33 minutes. Shown at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Admission is free.
