The Negro League Film Festival will bring life to the history of the teams and legendary players who played America’s pastime during segregation when blacks were banned from playing in the Major Leagues. Admission is free!

Narrated by Billy Dee Williams these documentary features the career of Satchel Paige, an extraordinary athlete often called the single most important player in the Negro Leagues and an American legend. Paige played the game for forty years on makeshift rural sandlots and in major league ballparks against the best in the game.
