Fall Film Series: Poletown Lives

Poletown Lives” tells the story of residents fighting to keep their neighborhood from being bulldozed for a GM plant that, in 2018, the company announced it has plans to close.The 1983 film documents the story of Poletown and the neighborhood protests around its scheduled demolition.

Director George Corseti will engage a lively Q& A session at the conclusion of the film (during the Saturday screening only).

Shown at the Detroit Historical Museum. Admission is FREE.
