Detroit Blight Busters was founded by John George over 30 years ago with the mission of stabilizing and revitalizing Detroit neighborhoods through housing, donations and volunteerism. The organization’s campus in the Old Redford neighborhood serves as a hub for the group and includes spaces for the community, including a gallery, performance space, outdoor courtyards, colorful murals and Motor City Java House.
Join us to tour the Detroit Blight Busters campus. This is an indoor/outdoor tour, which will feature a short walk to their urban garden as well.
