Country Club of Detroit

The Course of History Golf Classic is back! This year, we’ll be at the Country Club of Detroit, deemed one of Detroit’s crown jewels of golf.

Players will indulge in a round of 18 holes of golf on the Championship Course and enjoy all the perks and benefits of a Club Membership for the day.

The day begins with an outdoor continental breakfast, Bloody Mary bar, coffee bar and putting contest followed by a relaxing round on one of Michigan’s most historic courses. A true honor for those who revere a classic course and the challenges it offers. BBQ lunch outside at the turn.

End the day with a fun awards ceremony, strolling dinner on the Clubhouse lawn and the opportunity to mix and mingle with other supporters of The Detroit Historical Society.

You can be confident that DHS is committed to providing our guests with a memorable round on the Course of History that is both safe and healthy. We will adhere to the Governor’s executive orders and follow the guidelines set forth by the Golf Association of Michigan with appropriate personal protective gear provided and social distancing accommodations in place. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. Please click and download the Golfer fact Sheet for more information.

Please be sure to check our sponsorship opportunities and reserve your spot on The Course of History. One of this area’s premier golf events!
