Virtual Third Thursday Speaker Series: Darryl DeAngelo Terrell
Third Thursdays are back! We'll be bringing you this dynamic program in the comfort of your own home with a year-long series we're calling "Our Stories Matter: Conversations and Tales for a changing Detroit."
On Thursday, October 15, we will be joined by Detroit-based artist and 2019 Kresge Fellow, Darryl DeAngelo Terrell as they discuss their work, their Detroit, and what it means to be young, black and queer in the city. You won't want to miss one of the brightest voices in our city today.

Members Only! The Parade Company
Just in time for Thanksgiving, take a journey to the Parade Company Studio, which houses more than 3,000 costumes in the 200,000 square foot warehouse. The collection houses the world’s largest papier-maché heads made to resemble area icons and other famous characters. Enjoy seeing holidays take shape right before your eyes!
Spooky Weekend Scavenger Hunt
Guests of all ages are invited for a ghoulish gallivant in our galleries, searching for clues in a historic scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Candy and other treats will be awarded to those who can find all the clues and solve all the puzzles! Costumes are encouraged, and the scavenger hunt is free with general admission.

Since 1876, Two Way Inn has been selling spirits. and patrons have been seeing them as well. Now, you, too, can experience the history and mystery of Detroit’s oldest bar. On this special Halloween tour, we will learn the story of this famous spot and maybe catch a glimpse of the resident ghost, Col. Philetus Norris.
