Detroit Design 2067
Detroit Design 2067 is a week-long, youth-driven immersion program. It was developed to offer 12 high school juniors and seniors* throughout the region an opportunity to be positioned as leaders for the future. This in-depth experience gives youth a chance to reflect on local history, build valuable skills and envision the future: by exploring Detroit’s most valuable community resources and learning how to use problem-solving methods as a way to address community challenges.
Program details:
- Dates: Saturday April 10 and 17; May 1, 15 & 29, 2021, 10 a.m. -3 p.m.
- Hosted by the Detroit Historical Museum, but all meetings will take place virtually on Zoom
Student benefits:

Student requirements:
- Completed Application by February 19, 2021 (5 p.m.)
- Availability to attend Student Orientation on April 9, 2021, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
- Enthusiasm to learn about Detroit’s history
- A desire to help design the Detroit Historical Society’s ongoing programs for children & young people
