January 12 2020 | 2:00pm to January 13 2020 | 2:55pm

“PFAS” is short for per- or polyfluoroalkyl substances – a family of chemicals used to make common household products and waterproof clothing. They’re being found in an increasing number of drinking water sources, and research is only beginning to determine the health effects and what treatments there might be. Join us as we screen Detroit Public Television's recent documentary Great Lakes Now episode "Forever Chemicals."

Shown at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Admission is free.
