Winter Film Series: One Sweet Night Screening & Panel Discussion

The theatrical short "One Sweet Night" examines the attack on the home of Dr. Ossian and Gladys Sweet, a prominent young black couple in 1920's Detroit. After the screening, join us for a panel discussion featuring experts in history, housing and economic development who will explore the relevance of these issues to the present day.

Panelists include: Jamon Jordan, Black Scroll Network History & Tours, Sarida Scott, Detroit Program Director, Kellogg Foundation, Andrew Colom, filmmaker and Founding Partner, Century PartnersCandice Fortman, CEO, Outlier Media, Daniel Baxter, current owner of the Sweet house. 

Moderated by Orlando Bailey, Chief Development Officer, Eastside Community Network and Detroit host/chief moderator of Urban Consulate.
