Winter Film Series: American Revolutionary

Filmmaker Grace Lee’s award-winning film “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs” focuses on well-known writer and activist Grace Lee Boggs. She became a noted figure in Detroit’s Civil Rights and Black Power movement. The film is also the winner of the “Audience Award” and “Best Documentary Feature” of the 2013 Los Angeles Film Festival. Learn about Boggs’ legacy and what makes her an American Revolutionary who has empowered
many during this Women’s History Month screening.
