Motown Karaoke Night

January 9 2020 | 6:00pm to January 10 2020 | 8:55pm

Join the Detroit Historical Society as we honor the anniversary of Motown by hosting our very first Motown-themed karaoke competition!

Performers who compete will be judged by a panel of special guests including Detroit's own Satori Shakoor, Bryce Detroit and Annette Sterling Helton and Rosalind Ashford Holmes of the Vandellas! The winner will receive a special Detroit Historical Society prize!

NOTE: You do NOT need to compete in order to participate.

Come sing your heart out whether you're in it to win it or just for fun! The first half of the event will be open to everybody, and those who choose to compete will perform in the second half of the program.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

This event is FREE WITH ADMISSION as a part of our brand new Night at the Detroit Historical Museum series of late night programming every Thursday, so come early and stay late.

Free with general admission. Registration is required.
