Holiday Weekend

December 28 2019 | 12:00pm to December 29 2019 | 2:55pm

Discover! Engage! Enjoy! Join us at the Detroit Historical Museum as we explore the rich traditions of the holiday season beyond the wonder of Christmas. Learn more about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day from your neighbors who celebrate these traditions. Descriptions, discussions and discovery with crafts are sure to make fun filled afternoons for the entire family!

December 28 features Three Kings Day

Although this holiday is celebrated in many places across the world, it holds a special place in the Latino community. Enjoy a talk and authentic workshop with Maria Elena Rodriguez as she shares the journey of the Three Kings and this rich tradition to the U.S.

Activities are free with general admission
