The Detroitist Book Talk and Signing

Please join us to celebrate Detroit writer Marsha Music (aka Marsha Battle Philpot) and the launch of her long-awaited solo book, The Detroitist.
Ms. Music will read from the book, discuss the origins of this volume of writings on Detroit, including her seminal essay, "The Kidnapped Children of Detroit" and her epic poem "Just Say Hi (The Gentrification Blues)."
Books will be available for purchase in the museum store.
