A Conversation on History Education with Brenda Tindal and Alycia Meriweather

The Detroit Historical Society is excited to introduce Brenda Tindal, our new Director of Education. A seasoned educator, scholar and museum practitioner, Brenda comes to the Society from the Levine Museum of the New South in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she served as Staff Historian and Senior Vice President of Research & Collections.

Please join us for a conversation on history education with Brenda and special guest, Alycia Meriweather, Deputy Superintendent of Detroit Public Schools Community District. The conversation will be followed by a reception with the opportunity to meet and greet our panelists and the entire education staff of the Detroit Historical Society.

Parking available in the Detroit Historical Museum parking lot on a first-come-first-served basis. Street parking is also available nearby.
