Request a Donation from the Detroit Historical Society

The Detroit Historical Society is pleased to support other non-profit organizations in our community by donating items to be used in auctions and raffles.

Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate all requests. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we are only able to accommodate ONE donation per organization each calendar year.

Please see below for eligibility requirements:

  • Organization must be located in the state of Michigan
  • Organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • Item must be used to raise money in an auction or raffle

Requests must be submitted at least 90 days in advance of your event or fundraiser. After you submit this form, you will receive an email receipt of your submission. We review requests monthly, and you will receive an email notification at least one month prior to your event indicating whether we are able to fulfill your request.
