Description This marking sampler includes two sets of alphabets in a cross stitch pattern embroidered on a course tan hand-woven linen. Beneath the letters reads: " Laura Eliza Southworth."
Dimensions H-6 W-9 inches
Notes Miss Southworth later became Mrs. George Bockoven, cousin of the donor's father.
