Winter Film Series: America’s Ancient Industry

February 13 2016 | 2:00pm to February 14 2016 | 1:55pm

Long before Stonehenge and the Pyramids were built, an industry was flourishing in North America near the Lake Superior shores. Copper was being mined. No one knows for sure who these ancient miners were, but thousands of mine pits and tools were left behind as evidence of their mysterious past. This documentary takes us back in time to explore this fascinating story.

Shown at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Running Time: 60 minutes. Admission is FREE.
