Other tour highlights include seeing some key locations from the early years of Ford Motor Company and driving through Detroit’s Entertainment and Sports areas. We will also visit the New Center area, Historic Corktown, Midtown and the vibrant Cultural Center. Areas of special interest include the birthplaces of Motown and the Model T. Guests will enjoy lunch at Sindbad’s on the Detroit River. The “Historic Detroit” tour is led by Society volunteers Jim & Annette McConnell.
