Albert Kahn's Architectural Legacy: Kahn's Life & Work

Visit the Detroit Public Library (5201 Woodward Ave., Detroit) for an exploration of one of Detroit's best known artists. Kahn designed over 2,000 projects in his lifetime and revolutionized industrial design. In Detroit, at least 50 buildings that he designed are on the National Register of Historic Places. This program will present Albert Kahn's life and work.

Speaker Casie Blovsky is the manager of public programs for the Detroit Historical Society, which oversees the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum. She holds a master's degree in historic preservation from Eastern Michigan University.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Putnam St. staff parking lot. Enter through the Cass or Woodward Avenue doors.
