Our permanent exhibits Frontiers to Factories, Motor City, The Gothic Room and the Streets of Old Detroit tell the stories of events, people, triumphs and tragedies that have shaped Detroit and southeastern Michigan into the unique region that it is today. The Society’s changing galleries at the Detroit Historical Museum and at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum currently feature new exhibits which will be open for a limited time such as Hero or Villain? Metro Detroit’s Legacy of Leadership. Your generous donations can be seen in every artifact, exhibit, program and event.
