Speakers Bureau



If your group is interested in learning more about the 300-year history of Detroit and the region, the Detroit Historical Society offers a Speakers Bureau, featuring a variety of local scholars and selected topics.

You can choose from one of the topics listed below or suggest your own topic and we will do our best to find a speaker to accommodate your request. Presentations generally run 30-60 minutes in length, feature video, slides or Powerpoint, and leave time for questions and answers.

There is no booking fee for members of the speakers bureau, however, groups generally make a donation to the Detroit Historical Society in the amount of $150 in lieu of a stipend.
