Once you become a Detroit Historical Society member, you have the opportunity to also join the Maritime Auxiliary Group.

The Detroit Historical Society’s Maritime Auxiliary Group (MAG) is dedicated to preserving our region’s rich maritime history.

As a member of the MAG you will have access to special events and programs at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum focusing on Great Lakes and regional maritime history.

Also available exclusively to MAG members is a subscription to the highly acclaimed quarterly publication, Telescope. The Telescope contains in-depth articles about maritime history as well as Great Lakes and seaway news.
