Homeschool Field Day

Recommended for all grades K – 12

You and your family are invited to Homeschool Field Day at the Detroit Historical Museum! Students will explore Detroit's history through a series of 30-minute hands-on workshops that will have them:

  • attending school in Detroit during the 19th century;
  • handling and interacting with items from the fur trade;
  • comparing and contrasting automobile hand-assembly versus the assembly line, and more!

Students can pick and choose which workshops they will attend and record their participation on a Field Day Scorecard.

  • Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Cost: $5 per person for students and adults
