Chasing Dreams: Family Day

Bring the family for a day of family-friendly programs to showcase the temporary exhibit Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American. The day will feature hot dog (ball park kosher) lunches and activities, presented by the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan and the Michigan Jewish Sports Foundation. The day will feature special guests, activities and more throughout the afternoon. Highlights include a Baseball Broadcast Booth, where fans of all ages can practice their play-by-play radio and television skills, and a late-afternoon program entitled, “Old Jews Talking Baseball,” featuring Max Lapides, Bob Matthews, Irwin Cohen and Jim Grey chatting up baseball trivia and stats.
