All of us at the Detroit Historical Society take very seriously our role as your complete resource for the history of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. What we have sought to do with this new website is to create a portal where you can explore the region’s history in a new and exciting way with our “Encyclopedia of Detroit?lt;/a> while also having the opportunity to explore all the great Society tours, programs and exhibits both around town and at the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum.
